WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim i
desirous of purcha °ing the hereinafter described real property
for nicipal purpo.: e:. to wit o Easements for road and public
utilit atd •ublic
WHEREAS, the ownerof said property ha vP offered
to sell and convey the :same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim find
that it is for the benefit and be .t interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept ;aid offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, TH EPORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of

An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Southerly 222 feet
of the West half of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section
2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the South quarter corner of Section 2,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, as shown on a Map
filed in Book 17, page 5 of Record of Surveys in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
said corner also being the intersection of the center
line of Acacia Street, with the center line of La
Palma Avenue; thence North 89° 57' 50" East along
said center line of La Palma Avenue a distance of
330 feet; thence North 0° 02' 10" West a distance
of 53 feet; thence South 89° 57' 50" West a distance
of 283.91 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet;
thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 89° 14' 00" an arc distance

For the purpose of this description, the center line
of Acacia Street is assumed to be the West line and
the center line of La Palma Avenue is assumed to be the
South line of the above described parcel of land.

An easement for public utility overhang purposes for
electric power lines, cross arms and conductors over,
under and across the Easterly 3 feet of the Southerly
222 feet of the West half of the Southwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 13th day of September, 1966.
