WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on November 15, 1960, adopt Resolution No. 6453 in Reclassi-
fication Proceedings No. 60- 61 -37, finding and determining
that the property and area therein described should be
changed from R -1, ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C -1,
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject to certain conditions
set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 3 of said resolution reads
as follows:

That the owners of subject property place of
record standard City of Anaheim C -i Deed
Restrictions, approved by the City Attorney,
which restrictions shall limit the uses of the
property to business offices, banks, pharmacies,
exhibit halls (private -no retail sales from
the floor), medical centers, physical, medical
and diagnostic laboratories (no industrial pro-
duction on the premises), professional offices,
research institutes and laboratories, restaurants
intended and designed primarily to meet the needs
and convenience of the district as distinguished
from the general public, and any uses which may
hereafter be authorized and permitted under
future zoning of the City of Anaheim in the pro-
posed C -7, Business and Professional Office Zone."
AND WHEREAS, the C -1 Deed Restrictions mentioned in
said Condition No. 3 have been placed of record in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County as required in said
condition; and
WHEREAS, the owner of subject property has requested
that said Condition No. 3 of Resolution No. 6453 be amended to
permit the addition of stamp and coin shops to the allowable
uses of said property; and that consent of the City be given to
the amendment of the deed restrictions to permit such additional
use; and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration and investigation
of the matter, the City Council does find that said request
should be granted, subject to the dedication to the City of an
additional five (5) foot strip of land at the rear of subject
property for alley purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 6453 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. 60 -61 -37 be, and the same is hereby amended by
adding stamp and coin shops to the permitted uses of subject
property listed in Condition No. 3 thereof; provided, however,
that said use shall be allowed subject to the dedication to the
City of Anaheim of an additional strip of land five (5) feet in
width at the rear of subject property for alley purposes.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon the dedication to
the City of Anaheim of said additional 5 -foot strip of land,
the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized,
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim, to consent to the
amendment of said deed restrictions heretofore recorded as
required in Condition No. 3 of said Resolution No. 6453, to
permit the addition of stamp and coin shops to the allowable
uses of subject property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 6453 be, and remain in full force and
effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of August, 1966.
