A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed
a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hearing
to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opin-
ions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed change
in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupn
fix the 12th day of July 19 66 as the time and
the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as
the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone
or zones and did give notice thereof in the manner and as pro-
vided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as here-
inafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in
which it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should
not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,State of California,
described as follows:

PARCEL NO. 1:
The North 173 feet of the South 203 feet of the West 398
feet of the East 428 feet of Lot 20 of Anaheim Extension,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 3, pages 162 to
164 inclusive of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, said dis-
tance being measured from the center lines of Ball Road and
State College Boulevard, as shown on the map of Tract No.
4757 recorded in book 184, pages 47 and 48 of said Miscel-
laneous Maps, the ultimate width of both Hall Road and State
College Boulevard to be 53 feet from center lines according
to information from the City of Anaheim as of this date thus
making the net parcel 150 feet on State College Boulevard
by 375 feet on Bali Road.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion thereof described as follows;
The westerly seventy -five (75) feet by a net depth of 150
feet; and beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 20,
said Southeast corner being the intersection of the Northerly
line of a 60 foot road known as Ball Road and the Westerly
line of a 60 foot road known as State College Boulevard
(formerly known as Placentia Avenue); thence Northerly along
the Easterly line of said Lot 20, 61 feet; thence Southwest-
erly in a direct line to a point in the Southerly line of
said Lot 20, said point being 61 feet West of the Southwest
corner of said Lot 20; thence Easterly along the Southerly
line of said Lot 20 a distance of 61 feet to the point of
beginning.
PARCEL NO. 2:
The North 173 feet of the South 203 feet of the West 398 feet

City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in book 3, pages 162 to 164

The easterly 323 feet hereof; and beginning at the Southeast
corner of said Lot 20, said Southeast corner being the inter-
section of the Northerly line of a 60 foot road known as Ball
Road and the Westerly line of a 60 foot road known as State
College Boulevard (formerly known as Placentia Avenue);
thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said Lot 20, 61
feet; thence Southwesterly in a direct line to a point in the
Southerly line of said Lot 20, said point being 61 feet West
of the Southwest corner of said Lot 20; thence Easterly along
the Southerly line of said Lot 20 a distance of 61 feet to
the point of beginning.
remain in R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incor-
porated, and that the reclassification of Parcel No. 1 to
C -1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, and Parcel No. 2 to C -2,
GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the
City Planning Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 12th day of July, 1966.
