RE: DisneylandForward Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report
Dear Ms. Thienprasiddhi:
I’m writing to express my support for DisneylandForward and to encourage
Anaheim’s Planning Commission and City Council to certify the Draft
Subsequent Environmental Impact Report (DSEIR) and approve the
DisneylandForward Project.
Disneyland has been an integral part of Anaheim for nearly seven decades,
significantly contributing to the city's economic well-being. The
DisneylandForward project will enable Disney to further invest in Anaheim,
leading to the generation of thousands of jobs for local residents and a
substantial increase in annual tax revenue for the city. These additional
funds can be allocated to vital services such as libraries, fire and police
departments, parks, and neighborhood road improvements. Additionally, it's
worth noting that Disney proposes to develop DisneylandForward
exclusively on its existing properties.
For these reasons, I fully endorse the certification of the Environmental
Impact Report (EIR) and the approval of the DisneylandForward Project.
