A RESOWTION OF THE CIn COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER IliTO AN AGR.Ei2OOIT WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY FIOOD CONTROL DISTRICT FOR THE RELOOATION OF CERTAIN ELECTRIC POWER DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES OWNED BY THE CITY. WHEREAS, the Oi ty of Anahe:iJn is the owner of an electric power distribution system for the distribution of electric power to its customers; and WHEREAS, certain of the poles, brace poles, guys, and underground cables of said system are located in the area hereinafter mentioned; and WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District intends to contract for the construction of Carbon Creek 6hannel B-1 Part III, from the Santa Ana Freeway to Raymond Basin; and WHEREAS, in order to construct said channel in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, which plans have been approved by the City of Anahe:iJn, it is necessary that the following facilities owned by the City be relocated: Item Sketch Station Facility and Location Est:iJnated Cost of Relocation 1 #29 72+68 Brace pole, no number $ 9tl.90 nls R/W between West st. & La Palma Avenue Xing, with guy anchor 2 #47A 99+39 Underground cable xing 1,228.20 La Palma between Helena & Dickel Sts. 3 #53 108+09 P.P. no number nls La Palma 79.35 Ave. Elo Lemon St. 4 #59 112+80 Guy to P.P. (no number) 6 #63 119+92 Guy to P.P. #1399D 370.30 7 #67 124+91 P.P. #724D with guy) 629.65 8 #67 125+49 P.P. #2224 D ) 9 #74 133+09 Guy pole &: guy 143.60 TOTAL $?i627.62 ~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that an agreement be made and entered into by and between the City of Anahe:iJn and the Orange County Flood Control District for the re- location of the electric power distribution facilities above mentioned, the terms and conditions of which shall be as follows: 1. The City shall relocate the above listed facilities and furnish temporary service as required for the construction of subject channel. 2. The Orange County Flood Control District shall pay to the City, upon completion of said relocation, the actual cost to the City of performing said work, the estimated cost thereof being $2,627.62. -1- - Payment shall be made to the City in an amount to be the actual cost of the work to the City, as shown by itemized statement to be furnished the Orange County Flood Control District prior to payment. ...-. 3. The City of Anaheim shall relocate said facilities in a manner such that Carbon Creek Channel may be constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said relocation, in any event, to meet with the approval of the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim and the Flood Control Engineer of the Orange County Flood District. BE I'!' FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to enter into said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
