RESOLUTION NO. 67R-103
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND
ROSE & FEARS, ARCHITECTS, WITH REFERENCE TO
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CORPORATION AND UTILITIES
YARD AT 901 EAST VERMONT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of constructing
that certain corporation and utilities yard to be located at
901 East Vermont Avenue in the City of Anaheim by means of a four-
phase construction project rather than the original two-phase
construction project contemplated under an agreement entered into
between the City of Anaheim and Rose & Fears, Architects, on
February 2, 1965; and
WHEREAS, the completion of the aforementioned project in
a four-phase rather than a two-phase operation will necessitate
that Rose & Fears, Architects, provide additional services in the
form of services rendered in re-drawing the plans and re-working
the specifications, as well as the additional charges for the
supervision of the project, which will involve supervision of a
greater number of construction phases; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into a supplemental
written agreement providing for extra services to be rendered by
the architects and for extra payments to be made by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a supplemental written agreement be made
and entered into between the City of Anaheim and Rose and Fears,
Architects, providing as follows:
The City shall agree to pay additional compensation to
said Architects based on the following rates of pay for
services of various architectural and engineering person-
nel. Provided, however, that no compensation paid to the
Architects pursuant to said supplemental written agree-
ment shall exceed Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00).

The Architects shall agree to use their best efforts
to complete phases three and four at the same time.
It shall be understood and agreed by the Architects that
the City reserves the right to review each phase prior
to inviting bids on said phase and reserves the right to
approve each proposed phase prior to its submission to
bid. Moreover, it shall be the understanding and said

Architects shall agree that the City reserves the right
to revise or reject any phase prior to preparation of
the notice inviting bids.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute such supplemental
written agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of February, 1967.
