A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NOo 908
, WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit ,from
JOHN T. STOWERS and ELTA B. STOWERS, ~30 Orchid Street, Corona
Del rvlar, ,California, to establish a pawn shop (Section 18.64.020
(3-0) of .the Anaheim lVlunicipal Code), on the following described
property situated in the City 'of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to wit:
Lot Sof the Kroeger Hill Subdivision as shown
on a map recorded' in Book 7, Page 11 of lVliscel-
laneous lVlaps, Records of Orange County,
California.

vestigationand studies made by itself and in its behalf and
aft~ due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at

WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was file4'with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in denvinq said Conditional
Use Permit andsaida.ppeal was set for public hearing on

February 14th ,19 67 , at the City Hall, in the City
'of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly give"
8S required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said .publie
hearing, the.City Council did duly ,hold and cond~ct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evid-ence and reports; arid

consideration 'of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and -reports offered at said hea~-
ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 908 should be denied.
