A RESOLUTION 0' TH! CITY COUNCIL 0' THE CITY OF
AMH!IM PINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANG!
Oil' ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE SHOOLD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE 0' ZONE, AND DEFERRING ACTION ON THE RECLASSI-
FICATION OF A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, thlCity Planning Commission of thl City of Ana-
hel. hu heretofore duly pan.d and adopted a resolution d.claring
its intlntion to chang. the boundaries of the lone or zon.s h.r.in~
aft.r m.ntioned and d'lcribed and did fix a time and plac. for the
holding of a public h.aring thereon in the mann.r and at pr..cribed
in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Cod., and did duly
hold and conduct such public hearing to consid.r said proposed chang.

WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) day. following the
final h.aring th.reon, the Planning Commission did duly announc. by
for..l resolution its findings of facts and declare it. opinions and
r.a.ons for r.comm.nding an amendment to said Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to .ffect the proposed chang.. in the
boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did ther.upon fix the

~in the City Rail of the City of Anah.lm as the place for a
pu)llc hearing upon .ald proposed change of zone, and did give notice
thereof In the manner and as provided In .aid Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hear-
ing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public h.aring
and did give all persons Interested. therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did ther.upon con-
sider the recommendatlonl of the City Planning Comml..lon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and d.termln. that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the Ion. In which It
i. now tltuated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth, Is
more .uit.able for the zone or zon.. to which it 11 propoud to change
.ald property and area and that the inclulion of laid property and
area In luch n.w zone or zone I will Increal. the value of said
propert.y and ar.a and will not depreciate the valu.s of property in
adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREII'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CIty Council of the
City or Anaheim that all or the property and area Iltuated In the
City of Anaheim, County of Orang., Stat. of California, d'lcribed
.. follow., to wit:
PARCEL 1:
That portion of that certain 15.86 acre parcel of land shown on a
map thereof recorded in Book 40, Page 6 of Records of Survey in
the Office of the Recorder of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beg inning at the' nor thwes t corner of said parcel and running thence
South 89044'00" east along the northerly line of said parcel 527.40
feet; thence South 0021'20" east parallel with the west line of
said parcel 313.37 feet to an angle point in the south line of said
parcel; thence north 89044'00" west along said south line 527.40
feet to the west 1 ine of said parcel; thence nor:th 0021'20" west"'"

All of that certain 15.86 acre parcel of land shown on a
map thereof recorded in Book 40, Page 6 of Records of
Survey in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County,
California, except that portion described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said parcel and running
thence south 89044'00n east along the northerly line of said
parcel 527.40 feet; thence south 002l'20n east parallel with
the west line of said parcel 313.37 feet to an angle point
in the south line of said parcel; thence north 89044,oon
west along said south line 527.40 feet to the west line of
said parcel; thence north 0021'20" west 313.37 feet along
said west line to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 3:
The south 193.06 feet of the east 330.00 feet of that cer-
tain 17.63 acre parcel of land shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 40, Page 6 of Records of Survey in the
Office of the Recorder of Orange County, California, said
dimensions being as measured along the center line of
Euclid and the south property line of said parcel, re-
spectively.
PARCEL 4:
The east 330.00 feet except the south 259.06 feet of that
certain 17.63 acre parcel of land shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 40, Page 6 of Records of Survey in the
Office of the Recorder of Orange County, California, said
dimensions being as measured along the south property
line of said parcel and the center line of Euclid Avenue,
respect! ve ly.
PARCEL 5:
That certain 17.63 acre parcel of land shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 40, Page 6 of Records of Survey
in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County, California,
except the easterly 330 feet thereof, said 330 feet being
as measured along the south line of said parcel.
PARCEL 6:
That certain 4.38 acre parcel of land shown on a map there-
of recorded in Book 40, Page 6 of Records of Survey in the
Office of the Recorder of Orange County, California.
be changed from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to C-l,
NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE, with the exception of PARCELS
1 and 5, and that action on the reclassification of these two
parcels be deferred for a period of one week; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that PARCELS 2, 3, 4 and 6
be changed to C-l, Neighborhood-Commercial Zone, subject to the
following conditions:
1. That the buffer zone of wall and landscaping on Crescent
Avenue, as shown on the plans and renderings submitted
to the City Council and on file with the City, be
established.

2. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities or
other pertinent work, along Euclid and Crescent
Avenues, be complied with as required by the City
Engineer.
3. That a minimum building line setback of 35 feet
be established on Euclid Avenue.
4. That the owner of subject property place of record
standard City of Anaheim C-1 Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and
submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the object herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 3rd day of June, 1958.
