RESOLUTION NO. 4553
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF '!'HE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING APPLICATION NO. F-57-58-50
FOR A CHANGE IN ZONE IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE
CI TY, HEREINAF'l'ER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has hereto~ore duly passed and adopted a resolution
declaring its intention to change the boundaries o~ the zone or
zones hereina~ter mentioned and described, and did ~ix a time
and place ~or the holding o~ a public hearing thereon in the
manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 o~ the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hear-
ing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones and did
receive evidence and reports ~rom persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period o~ ~orty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by ~ormal resolution its ~indings of ~acts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said
Article IX, Chapter 2 o~ the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect
the proposed changes in the boundaries of the zone hereinafter
mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt o~ the report and recommendation
o~ the 01 ty Planning Commission, the City Couneil did thereupon
~ix the 3rd day o~ June, 1958, as the time and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall o~ the City o~ Anaheim as the place for a publie
hearing upon said proposed change o~ zone or zones, and did give
notice thereo~ in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 o~ the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed ~or said publie
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
eonsider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does ~ind and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed ~rom the zone in
whieh it is now situated to a di~ferent zone or zones, as herein-
~ter set ~orth, is more suitable ~or the zone in which it is now
incorporated, and that a change o~ zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council o~
the City o~ Anaheim that all o~ the property and area situated
in the City o~ Anaheim, County o~ Orange, State of Cali~ornia,
described as ~ollows, to wit:

County o~ Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 51, Page 7 et seq., o~ Miscel-
laneous Maps, described as ~ollows: The East 92
~eet o~ the West 511 feet o~ the North 190 ~eet o~
the Northwest Quarter o~ the Northwest Quarter o~
the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, T4S, R1OW,
EXCEPT the North 66 ~eet thereo~ as granted to the
State o~ Cali~ornia by deed recorded October 5,
1955, in Book 3233, Page 463 o~ the O~~icial Records
o~ the County Recorder o~ Orange County.
