A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 0]1' THE CITY OF
ANAJt!IM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE
OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS 0]1' THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
M'UlfICIPAL COD! SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anl-
h.l.h.. heretotore duly passed Ind adopted a resolution declaring

WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing ther.on, the Planning Commission did duly announce by

of the Anaheim Munlcipll Code to effect the proposed ching.. In the

Beginning at a point 12 chains North of the Southeast corner
of said Section 5, and running thence North along the Section
Line 8 chains; thence, West 2$ chains; thence, South 8 ch~lns;
thence, Easterly parallel with the Southerly line of said

of Section 5, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.,
containing 15 acres, more or less.
be changed from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE." to the fol-
lowing zones, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth:
That Parcel No. 1 be reclassified R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE; and
That Parcel No.2 be changed to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD-
COMMERCIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width,
from the center line of the street, along Euclid
Avenue for street widening purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim the following land for street
purposes, upon demand by the City:
A strip of land 64 feet in width extending through
said property, known as Medical Center Road, for
an interior street; and
The service road 40 feet in width extending along
the north side of Parcel No.2 above described,
and that an agreement be made and entered into by
and between the City and the owner or owners of
the property providing for such dedication upon
demand by the City, and for the improvement and
maintenance of said streets by the owner or owners
thereof until demand is made by the City for said
dedication; and providing further that said prop-
erty shall not be sold and the sale consummated
prior to the dedication of said streets to the
City of Anahe im.

3. That the owners of subject property shall improve
and maintain said streets as required by the City
Engineer.
4. That subject property shall be developed essentially
in conformity with plans presented to the City
Council and on file with the City of Anaheim.
5. That the owners of subject property place of record
standard City of Anaheim R-3 and C-l Deed Restric-
tions, approved by the City Attorney, covering the
respective areas.
6. That this reclassification shall not become effective
until annexation proceedings now pending for the

annexation of certain property to the City,
in which a portion of subject property is
included, shall have been completed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOSVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and
submit to t he City Council an amendment to Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim
MUnicipal Code to accomplish the object herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOINJ RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 1st day of May, 1958.
