RESOLUTION NO. 4676
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUll'CIL OF TIlE CITY
OF .ANAHEIM FUmING AND DETElU41NING. THAT A
CHAJlGE. OF ZONE IS NECESSARY UJ CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AJJD. THAT ARTICLE ... IX, CHAPTER 2
OF THE .ANAHE 1M . r-uN I CI PAL coot SHOULD .BE .AMENDED
TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
'WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anahelm hal heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending disapproval of a change in the boundaries of the
aone or zones hereinafter mentioned and delcribed, after having
fixeG a tia. and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code, and after having duly held and
conducted such public hearing to consider said proposed change
of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
hy formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending that aaid proposed change
in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
ciescribed be disapproved; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 5th day of Aagust, 1958, as the time and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for
a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to he heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Cemmission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in
which it is now situated to a different zone, is more suitable
for the zone or zone. as hereinafter aet forth and that the
inclusion of said property and area in such new zone or zones
will increase the value of said property and area and will not
~epreciate the values of property in adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
..scribed as follows, to wit:
That portion of Lots 7 and 8 in Block 17 of a Sub-
division of the South half of Section 21, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. &. M., in the County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 1, Page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said county, described as
follows:

Beginninj at the Southwest corner of said Lot 7; thence
South 89 31* 10" East along the South line of said Lots
7 and 8, 662.40 feet; thence North 00 33* 10. East 668.87
feet to a point on the North line of said Lot 8; thence
North 890 43* 50" Vest along the North line of Lots 8 and
7 to the Northwest corner of Lot 7; thence South O. 33*
10. West along the West line of Lot 7 to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPT the North 300 feet thereof.

BE IT FUllTJER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby, authorlzedanel directed to prepare and suhmit to
t.he Ci ty C.unc 11 an amenelmen t to Artic 18 IX, Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and prQ,per.
