proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described
uninhabiteC territory should be initiated by the City Council on

hereinafter o.escribed to the Oi ty of Anaheim was submitted to the
Boundary Commission of the County of Orange, State of Oalifornia,
and reported u'oon by said Boundary Commission with respect to the
definiteness end certainty of the proposed bounda:ries; and
1:rHEHEAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
Oity of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
CBliforniE and is contif'uous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited
territory; and
1;.'HEREAS, the Oi ty Council finds from evidence and reports
received that said new territory proposed to be annexed to said
Oi ty of AnaheiL does not form a part of B.ny municipal corporation
and t:nat said territory is uninhabited and is contiguous to the
City of Anaheim; and
ViHEREAS, the City Council finds that the boundaries of
the territory sO proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim
are as follows, to wit:

parcel of land located in the BEt of the NEt and the Hi of
the SEt of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing Anaheim City Limits line
as established by the Orange Avenue Annexation to the City of Anaheim
passed by Ordinance No. 914 on August 10, 1954, and filed with the
Secretary of State, October 18, 1954, said point being 30 feet West of
the East line and 40 feet North of the South line of the SEt of the
NEi of said Seotion 18; thenoe,
1. Northerly along a line parallel with and 30 feet West of
the East line of said Seotion 18 and along said City limits line 900
feet more or less to the North line of that paroel of land oonveyed
by deed to John A. Stogman and wife on April 20, 1955, and filed in
Book 30,6, Page 5~9 of Offioial Reoords in the offioe of the Oounty
Reoorder of Orange Oounty, California; thenoe,
2. Westerly following the North line of the above mentioned
John A. Stogman and wife property 380.82 feet, more or less, to the
East 11ne of Lot 43 of Traot No. 2928, as shown on a map filed in Book
95, Pages 13, 14 and 15 of Miscellaneous Maps in the offioe of the
Oounty Recorder of said Orange Oounty, California; thenoe,
3. Southerly following the East 11ne of said Tract No. 2928,
140.00 feet, more or less, to an angle point 1n said East line; thenoe
Easterly 20 feet along said tract line; thenoe Southerly 536.09 feet
along said East line to the SE corner of Lot 30 of said Traot No. 2928;
the noe,
4. Westerly along the South line of Lots 30, 29 and 28 of said
Tract No. 2928 to the Northwest oorner of that paroel of land oonveyed by
deed to the Faith Lutheran Churoh of Anahe1m on February 20, 1956, said
deed being filed 1n Book 3417, Page 207 of Offioial Reoords in the offioe
of the Oounty Rec~der of said Orange County; thence,
5. Southerly along the West line of the last mentioned parcel
of land and its southerly prolongation to a point, said point being 20
feet Southerly as measured at right angles from the North line of the
Ni of the NEi of the SEt of said Seotion 18; thenoe,
6. Easterly parallel with and 20 feet Southerly of said North
line of the Hi of the NEt of BEt of said Seotion 18, 264.82 feet, more
or lesl, to the West line of that parcel of land conveyed by deed to
O. B. Weaver and wife on Maroh 3, 1929,and filed in Book 247, Page 428
of Official Rec~ds in the office of the County Reoorder of said Orange
County, California; thenoe,
7. Southerly along the West 11ne of the above last mentioned
parcel of land 311.18 feet to a point in the existing Oity Limite line
as established by the Brookhurst Avenue Annexation to the City of
Anaheim, passed by Ordinanoe No. 1150 on June 25, 1957, and filed with
the Seoretary of State on July 29, 1957; thence,
8. Easterly along said City Limits line 365 feet to a point,
said po1nt being 30 feet West of the East seotion line of said Seotion
18; thenoe,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHElliI:

That the proposed annexation be, end it is hereby,
initiated on the motion of the City Council of the City of Anaheim
8"nd that such proposed annexation be designated as II ORANGE-
BROOKHURST ANNEXATION II and that notice of such proposed annexation
be given as hereinafter provided.
AND BE IT FURTF.ER RESOLVED that a public hearing shall
be held u~on the date set, not less than forty (40) nor more than
sixty (60) days after the passage of this Resolution, unless the
owner or owners of all of the territory to be annexed file their
consent to such annexation, in writing, with the City Council, in
which event the hearing shall be set at any time after compliance
with Section 35311 of the Government Code.
MiD BE IT FURTHER RESOLv~D that the City Council does
find that the owner or owners of all of the territory proposed to
be annexed have filed their consent to such annexation, in
writing, with the City Council.
AND BE IT FURTHEF. RESOLVED that the 10th day of
DAC:Amher , 19~, at the hour of 7:00 otclock P. M.,
at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim
be, and the same is hereby, fixed as the day, hour and place when
and where the City Council will hear protests made by any owner or
owners of real property within the territory proposed to be annexed;
and that at any time before the hour set for hearing objections,
any owner of property within said territory may file with the City
Clerk a written protest against the anneXation. Said protest shall
be in writing and shall state the name of the owner of the property
affected and the description and area of the property in general .

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a copy of this Resolution
to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week,
in a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City, to
wit: The Anaheim Bulletin of Anaheim, Orange County, California,
and also in a newspaper of general circulation, published outside
of the City, but in the County of Orange, in which is located the
territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim,
to wit: The P16centia Courier of Placentia, Orange County,
California{ and that such public8tion shall be completed at least
twenty (20) days prior to the date of hearing hereinabove specified.

Aim BE IT FUF.THER HESOLVED that the Oi ty Clerk of the
City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to
each person to whom lc,nc1. within the territory proposed to be annexed
is assessed, in the last equalized county assessment roll available,
on the date the proceedings were initiated, at the address shown
on said assessment roll or as known to said City Clerk, and to any
person who has filed rQs name and address and the designation of
lands in which he has any interest, either J_egal or equitable, with
said Clerkj and in the event that land within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the City of Anaheiu is owned by a County, the City
Clerk. of the City of Anaheim s11&.ll also cause written notice of

such proposed annexation to be ulailed to the Board of SuperVisors
of such County. The foregoing notices shall be given not less
than twenty (20) days before the first public heexing on the pro-
posed annexation.
