A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTI;LITY PURPOSES.
WHEREASp the City Council of' the City of' Anaheim is
desirous of' purchasing the hereinaf'ter described real property f'or
public purposes, to wit~ An easement f'or road and nublie utility
p~rposes ; and
WHEREASp the owner s of' said property ha-!!., off'ered to sell
and convey the same to the~ity; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of' the City of' A~aheim f'inds that
it is for the benef'it and best interest. of' the City of Anaheim to
accept said of'f'er and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFOREp BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of' the
City of' Anaheim that the of'f'er of' JOHN EVAN ANSTINE AND LOIS M.
ANSTINE husband and wife,

situated in the City of' Anaheim, County of' Orange, State of' Calir-

An eas~ment for road and public utility purposes, overland across
the ~asterly 50 f'eet (as measured at right angles f'rom the center line
of Placentia Avenue) of' that parcel of land located in the City of'
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of' California, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a map by
William Hamel on file in the Recorder's of'fice of Los Angeles County,
California, a copy of which is recorded in Book 3, Pages 163 et seq.,
entitled Los Angeles County maps in the office 01' the County Recorder
of said Oranie County, California.
Beginning a~ a point on the Center Line of Placentia Avenue, dis-
tant thereon 8.0 05'15a ~est 493.97 feet f'rom the Northeast corner of'
said Lot 16, said corner being considered to be the intersection of the
Center Lines of South Street and Placentia rlvenue; thence 8,74036'05"
west 238.23 feet parallel with said Center Line of South Street to the
East line of the land described in deed to C. L. Becker, recorded in
Book 161, Page 89 of Deeds, Records of said Orange County; thence
8.15045'25" East along said ~aBt line of said Becker land to the South-
westerly corner of the land described in deed to Jennie B. Matouk, re-
corded June 3, 1943, in Book 1196, Page 47, Official Records in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence N.74030'
East 185.4 feet along the Southerly line of said Matouk land to said
Center 11ne of Placentia Avenue; thence N.Oo05'15a East 208.23 feet
to the point of beginning,

of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance or said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tLe City Treasurer of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners or
said real propertyp out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the
sum or One Dollar ($1.00).
