RESOLUTION NO. 67R- 20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DIRECTOR'S
DEED FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPART-
MENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, GRANTING TO THE CITY
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on the 15th day of March,
1966, adopt Resolution No. 66R-202 authorizing the purchase and
acquisition of certain surplus land from the- State of California
lying between the parking lot of the Anaheim Stadium and the
Orange Freeway; and .
WHEREAS, after the adoption of said Resolution No. 66R-
202 the State revised its right of way and reduced the area of
surplus land available for purchase by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on December 20, 1966 adopt
Resolution No. 66R-796 amending Resolution No. 66R-202 to reflect
the true amount of land acquired and the correct amount to be
paid therefor; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 66R-202, as amended, pro-
vides for the purchase of the hereinafter described property, and
for the issuance of a warrant in the amount of $48,321.00, payable
to the State of California, when a deed from the State of Califor-
nia covering said property has been received by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Director's Deed executed by the
State of California, Department of Public Works, on November 21,
1966, granting to the City of Anaheim the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, state
of California, to wit: .
PARCEL 1:
Those portions of that certain parcel of land, partly in
Lot 8 of the Glassell and Chapman Tract, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 5, page 408 of Miscellaneous Records in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, Cali-
fornia and partly in the Rancho santiago de Santa Ana,
conveyed to the State of California by deed recorded in
Book 6627, page 940 of Official Records in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, lying westerly
of the following described line:
Beginning at the Northerly terminus of that certain course
having a bearing of N. 180 34' 31" W.,and a length of
211.92 feet in the boundary line described in deed to the
State of California recorded in Book 6775, page 759 of
said Offficial Records; thence along said boundary line,
S. 180 34' 31" E., 211.92 feet, S. 28038' 42" E., 419.67
feet and S. 290 36' 21" E., 310.22 feet; thence
S. 270 02' 2911 E., 229.64 feet; thence S. 26019' 11" E.,
238.34 feet.
EXCEPTING and RESERVING unto the State of California any
and all rights of ingress to or egress from the land herein
conveyed over and across the hereinabove described line.

It is the purpose of the foregoing exception and reserva-
tion to provide that no easement' of access shall attach or
be appurtenant to the property hereby conveyed, by reason of
the fact that the same abuts upon a State highway.
SUBJECT to the EXCEPTION and RESERVATION therefrom, all
oil, minerals, natural gas and other hydrocarbons by
whatsoever name known, that may be within or under the
herein conveyed parcel of land, and the rights thereto,
together with certain other conditions, as excepted and
reserved in said deed to the State of California recorded
in Book 6627, page 940 of Official Records in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County.
PARCEL 2.
That portion of Lot 7 of the Travis Tract, as shown on
map recorded in Book 5, page 120 of Miscellaneous Records,
in the office of the county Recorder of Los"Angeles County,
California, described as Parcel 1 in final order of condem-
nation in Orange County Superior Court Case No. 94957, a
certified copy of which was recorded in Book 6904, page 549
of Official Records in the office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County, lying Westerly of the following described
line: .' -
Beginning at the southerly terminus of that certain course
having a bearing of N. 160 32' 29" W Of and a length of
291.83 feet in the boundary line described ~n deed to the
State of California, recorded in Book 6775, page 759 of
said Official Records; thence along said certain course,
N. 160 32' 2911 W., 99.99 feet; th~nce N. 180 54' 50" W.,
192.65 feet; thence N. 070 14' 40" E., 88.33 feet to the
southerly line of a strip of land, 100 feet wide, conveyed
by M. L. Wicks to the California Central Railway Company;
thence N. 230 29' 30" W., 137.89 feet to the northerly line
of said strip of land, 100 feet wide.
EXCEPTING and RESERVING unto the State of California any
and all rights of ingress to or egress from the land herein
conveyed over and across the hereinabove described line.

and he is hereby directed to draw a warrant payable to the State
of California, Department of Public Works, in the amount speci-
fied in Resolution No. 66R-202, as amended, and to forward the
same to the City Attorney as directed in said resolution.
