A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE
OF ZONE IS NJ!CES'SARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF' THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL COnE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONE 0
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana-
heim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring
its Intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones herein-
after mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the
holding of a publ1c hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed
in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change
of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX, Chap~.r 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the
boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
;L6th- day of Jul, , 19 57 . as the Ume and the Council
~in the City Ha 1 of the City of-Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed change of zone, and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said publiC hear-
ing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth, Is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to change
said property and area and that the inclusion of said property and
area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of said
property and area and will not depreciate the values of property in
adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the C1ty Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:

PARCEL l.
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 94 of Tract
1565, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California. recorded in Book 49. Pages 20 to 24,
inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County, and running thence in
a southerly direction along the easterly right of way
line of the alley as shown on said map of Tract 1565 to
the northwest corner of Lot 95 of sald Tract 1565; thence
easterly along the northerly line of sai4.Lot 95 of

Tract 1565 to the northeast corner of said Lot 95;
thence easterly along the prolongation of northerly
line of said Lot 95 to the center line of Placentia
Avenue; thence northeasterly along the center line
of Placentia Avenue to a point in said oenter line
where the prolongation of the southerly line of
Lot 94 of said Traot 1565 intersects said oenter
line; thence westerly along the prolongation of the
southerly line of said Lot 94 to the east corner of
said Lot; thence along the southerly line of said
Lot 94 of Tract 1565 to the point of beginning, sub-
ject to easements for street purposes.

Lot 94 of Tract 1565, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, recorded in Book 49,
Pages 20 to 24, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps in
the Offioe of the County Recorder of said County.
be changed from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE and B-1, SINGLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, to the following zones upon the condi-
tions hereinafter set forth:
That that portion of subject property described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 94 of Tract
1565 and running thence along the northerly line of .
said Lot 94 a distance of 571 OM to a point of begin-
ning; thence southerly and parallel to the easterly
right of way line of the alley between Ash Street and
Placentia Avenue as shown on the map of Tract 1565,
a distanoe of 1831 0"; thence easterly and parallel to
the northerly line of Lot 95 of Tract 1565 a distanoe
of 86' 0" to the westerly right of way line of Placentia
Avenue (as established after the dedication of right
of way in connection with this reclassification); thence
northerly along said westerly right of way line of
Placentia Avenue to its point of intersection with the
northerly line of Lot 94" of Tract 15654' thence westerly
along the northerly line of said Lot 9 to the point
of beginning.

of subject property be changed to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 20 feet in width
along Placentia Avenue for street widening pur-
poses; and a strip of land 50 feet in width from
the oenter line of the road, along Anaheim-Olive
Road for street widening purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property place of reoord
standard City of Anaheim C-l and C-3 Deed Restrio-
tions approved by the City Attorney, covering the
respeotive areas.

3. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities or
other pertinent work be oomplied with as required
by the City Engineer.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Municipal Gode to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be neoessary
and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
