RESOLUTION NO. 3809
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2, OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL OODE SHOULD BE AMENDED
TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its
intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding
of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed
ohange of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Oommission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its ouinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed
changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described; and

WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
2nd day of April , 195 7 , as the time and the
Oouncil Chambers in the City Hall of ~City of Anaheim as the plaoe
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth, is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
change said property and area and that the inclusion of said prop-
erty and area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
said property and area and will not depreciate the values of prop-
erty 1n adjoin1ng zones,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
A portion of the South half of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M., in the County of Orange, state of Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the South half of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 9;
TheDce West along the South line of said South half to the
Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to
H. LeRoy Hall and wife by deed recorded March 13, 1930 in
Book 360, Page 385 of Official Records; thence North along

the East line of said land conveyed to Hall and along
the East line of Pa~cel 1 as desc~ib.d in Deed to Floyd
M. Hatfield and wife ~eco~ded Ap~il 25, 1935 in Book
745, Page 446 of Official Reco~ds to the No~th line of
the Sotth half of the Southwest quarter of the North-
.est qaarter of said Section 9; thence East along the
North line of said South half to the Northeast corner
of saU South half; thence South along the East line
of said South half to the point of beginning,

~LlL ZONE, upon the tollowin, conditions:
1. That the owners of subject p~ope~ty deed to the City of
Anaheim a st~ip of land 10 feet 1n width along Loara
Street t~o. No~h Street to the north p~ope~ty line along
th1s street, fo~ st~eet widening purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property place of reco~d ap-
propriate C-l Deed Restrictions as required by the City of
Anaheim and approved by the City Attorney.
3. That said change of zone shall not become effective unless,
Within 60 days, or such further time as the Council may grant,
the restrictions herein required to be imposed upon the prop-
erty shall have been executed by the owners ot the property,
submitted to the City for approval and filed of reco~d, nor
until" deed~ for st~eet widening o~ utility purposes, when
required, have been executed and delivered to the City.
