All plant, labor, services, materials and equipment,
and all utilities and transportatio~, including power,
ruel and water, and performing all work necessary to
construot and complete, in a good and workmanlike man-
ner, in strict accordance with the plans and specifi~
cations on file in the office of the City Clerk or the
City Engineer of the City of Anaheim, the following
public improvement, to wit: The improvement of the
first alley North of Broadway, from Palm Street to
Citron Street, by the oonstruction of Portland Cement
Concrete Paving six inches thick, excavation, including
fine grading, adjusting two manholes to grade; and the
construction of a storm drain from Chestnut Street to
the alley, including excavation, equipment, castings,
structures, twelve-inch concrete pipe, and appurtenant
work as indicated on the plans, Job No. 143.

sealed proposal is the lowest responsible proposal received and that
the person, firm or corporation submitting said proposal is a
responsible person, firm or corporation and that the proposal sub-
mitted is the best suited and fitted for the publiC improvement to
be oonstruoted.

HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AHAHEIM, that the sealed proposal submitted by

for the turnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, all utilities and transportation, inoluding power, fuel
and water and performing all work neoessary to oonstruct and oomplete
in a good and workmanlike manner, in striot accordanoe with the
speoifioations, plans, and drawings therefor on file in the offioe
ot the City Olerk of the City of Anaheim and the notioe inviting
sealed proposals, the publio works and improvements hereinabove more
partioularly mentioned and described, together with the appurtenanoes
thereto, be, and the same is hereby, aocepted, and that a oontraot
for the oonstruotion and completion of said pUblic improvement be,
and the same is hereby, awarded to the said above named bidder.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the suooessful bidder or
bidders upon eaoh contract awarded as hereinabove set forth shall
be, and they are hereby required to execute a contraot in the required

form with the City of Anaheim upon the terms and oonditions specified
in the notice inviting sealed proposals and the proposal submitted
by said successful bidder or bidders and in accordance with the plans
and speoifications for said public improvement hereinabove desoribed
and in acoordanoe with the terms, conditions and provisions of this
resolution, and that said successful bidder or bidders to whom eaoh
contraot is awarded shall be required to furnish a surety bond in an
amount equal to one hundred per cent (H)O%) of the contraot price for
all labor, materials and equipment to be furnished and performed as
set forth in the sealed propOsals submitted by said bidder for the
construotion of said publiC improvement together with the appurtenanoes
thereto or such portion thereof as is covered by said oontract as
seourity for the faithful performance of said oontraot and a separate
surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred per cent (100%) of the
construction cost of said pUblic improvement covered by said oontraot
as seourity for the payment of all persons performing labor and furn-
ishing material for said proJeot.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said suocessful bidder or
bidders be, and they are hereby required to furnish to the Oity of
Anaheim in companies satisfactory to the Oity ot Anaheim publio
liability, property damage, compensation, and other insuranoe in
the amounts and for the purposes as set forth and specified in the
notioe ~nviting sealed proposals and subJeot to the approval of the
City Attorney as to form and sufficienoy.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Olerk
of the Oity of. Anaheim be, and they are hereby, authorized and direoted
to make, exeoute and enter into for and on behalf of the City of Ana-
heim 8 written contract with said successful bidder or bidders for the
furnishing of all plant, labor, materials, and equipment and performing
all work as hereinabove more particularly described for the construc-
tion, installation and oompletion of said public improvement herein-
above described upon the terms and conditions as speoified in the
notice inviting sealed proposals, the detailed design, plans, protiles,
drawings and general speoifications and detailed specifioations and
drawings and all addenda thereto and all modifications inoorporated
therein prior to the date of the opening of bids, on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim and in strict aocordanoe with
the terms, conditions and provisions of this Resolution, and in aocord-
ance with all the contract documents herein specified.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
