A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CE~TAIN TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DESCR~BED AS "NORTHEAST
ANNEXATION NO.2."
WHEREAS, heretofore, to w~t, on the 13th day of
December, 1956, the City Council did receive a written re-
quest from the proponents of Northeast Annexation No. 2
requesting consent to commence proc~edings for the annexa-
tion of certain territory to the City of Anaheim, more
particularly described and set forth in said wrItten re-
quest on fIle in the Office of the City Clerk of the City
of Anahe im; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereupon refer
said request to the City Planning Commission for a recom-
mendation and report; and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of December, 1956, the
City Planning Commission did act upon said request and did
thereupon recommend to the City Council that tre proposed
Northeast AnnexatIon No.2 be considered for annexatIon to
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of December, 1956, the
City Council did adopt Resolution No. 3618 consenting to
the commencement of proceedings for the annexation of saId
inhabited territory to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of December, 1956, the
proponents requesting said annexation of said territory to
the City of Anaheim did publish a Notice of Intention to
Circulate a Petition for the annexation thereof to said
City of Anaheim in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and published in the City of
Anahe im; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of December, 1956, the
City Council did adopt Resolution No. 3619 acknowledging
receipt of a copy of the Notice of Intention to Circulate
a Petition for the annexation of said territory described
in said notice to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of said
territory to the City of Anaheim has been receIved, but
no date has been set for the hearing of protests thereon,
and no protests have been receIved; and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that it would be to the advantage of the City and ,for the
best interest of the electors and property owners within the
territory desIgnated as "Northeast Annexation No.2" that
said proceedings be terminated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the Ci ty of Anahe im that all proc,eed ings fo r the annexa-
tion of that certain territory known and designated as
"Northeast Annexation No.2" to the City of Anaheim be, and
the same are hereby, terminated.
