AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 67R -11n determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That certain lease hold estate created by
that certain lease by and between Standard
Oil Company of California,.a corporation,
acting by and through its agent and attorney
in fact, Standard Oil Company of California,
Western Operations, Inc., a corporation as
Lessors and Duffy Motor Hotels, Inc., a
corporation, as Lessee, Dated November 1,
1960, said lease is covering that certain
parcel of land as herein described as Parcel
1, together with all buildings and improve-
ments as indicated by said lease.
PARCEL 1:
That certain real property in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as
follows: The surface and 500 feet of the
subsurface vertically in depth below the
surface of the North 348 feet of the North.
10 .acres of the North 15 acres of the East
half of the Northeast quarter of the North-
west quarter of Section 27, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West S.B.B. & M. Excepting the west
4 feet thereof also excepting the north 60
feet thereof, also excepting the east 60

feet .thereof , also excepting that .portion
thereof described as follows:- Beginning at
the North quarter corner of said seetio' n, 27;
thence south along the north -south centerline
of said section,'235 feet; thence west
parallel with the. North .line of said section,
210 -feet;. thence North parallel. with said
north -'south ceriterline '235 feet to a point :on
said North line; thence East along said north
line 210 feet to the Point .of Beginning.
now .is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE,.and that .it be changed to and
incorporated in C-R, COMMERCIAL RECREATION ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements. of the City
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities,- or other appurtenant
work shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer,
and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on
file in the Office of the City Engineer,.at thetime the
property is developed.
2.. That the owner(s) of the subject property shall
install street lighting as required by. the Utilities Director
except when the Utilities Director shall permit the payment
of street lighting fees in the amount .of $2.00 per front foot.
3. That the owner(s.) of subject property shall pay
to the City of Anaheim the sum of 60 -cents per front -foot for
tree planting purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the
property is developed.
4. That trash'storage areas shall b6 -provided in
accordance with approved plans on -file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works -and Superintendent -of Streets, prior
to final building inspections.
S. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view -and shall be in architectural
conformance with the structure.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above .described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now .s.ituated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional -zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City. Clerk'.shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the sameto be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,

a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty. (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
