AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAgEIti AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MU14ICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 73R-5.23 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones ereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area'situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The North 69.00 feet of the South 539.00 feet
of the West 147.00 feet of the southwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 8,
Township 4 South, Range '10 West, :in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, County of Orange,' State of Calif-
ornia, as per map recorded'in Book 51, Page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office 'of the
County Recorder of said county.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to
and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject
to the following conditions:
1. That the sidewalks shall be installed along
Brookhurst Street as required by the City Engineer and in
accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in
the office of the City Engineer.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans -on file with the office of the
Director of Public Works.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed and
charged as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief
of the Fire Department.

4. That a six-foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along all boundaries separating C-1 -and R-1 properties.
5. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view, and the sound buffered from
adjacent properties.
6. That any parking area lighting proposed.shall
be down -lighting of a maximum height of six feet, which light-
ing shall be directed away from the property lines to protect
the residential integrity of the area.
7. That the -final parking plan shall be approved
by the Development SerVices'Department,.,and any landscaped
areas in the parking area shall be protected with six-inch
high concrete curbs , .arid concrete wheel ' stops -shall be
provided for parking spaces.
` 8. That drainage of subject property shall be
disposed of in a manner that .is satisfactory.to the City
Engineer.
9. That Conditions Nos. 1, .2, 3, ' .4, .5, 6, 7 and
8, above mentioned,.shall be complied with .prior to the
final building and zoning inspections. -
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above .described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, .and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above'set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to.prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
'SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the -same to -be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage .it shall take .effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
