AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEAL-
ING SECTION 3.76.070 OF CHAPTER 3.76, TITLE
3, OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND ADDING
A NEW SECTION 3.76.070 IN ITS PLACE AND
STEAD RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTTnN 1_
That Title 3, Chapter 3.76 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be amended by repealing Section 3.76.070 and adding thereto
a new Section 3.76.070 to read as follows:
"3.76.070 SIGHTSEEING AND LIMOUSINE SERVICE.
.010 Every person conducting, managing or
carrying on the business of operating a sightseeing
bus or limousine shall pay an annual license of
twenty-five dollars, and ten dollars for each sight-
seeing bus or auto over one used in the business.
.020 Sightseeing and limousine service are
hereby defined as follows:
.0201 Sightseeing Service - A vehicle hired
by persons which, by contract, is engaged for its
exclusive use for a special trip or excursion from
a starting point within the City of Anaheim.
.0202 Limousine Service - Vehicles operated
by persons engaged in the business of transporting
passengers for hire by motor vehicle in the City,
though strictly by prearrangement and not by solicit-
ing business by cruising the streets."
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY.
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this chap-
ter of the Code, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this chapter independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this or-
dinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19tYr dajj•qf August, 1980.
