Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and are expecting the message. To the Anaheim City Council, I write to you favor of inclusive housing. I am currently an Anaheim resident that is making an income that would’ve been sufficient just even 4 years ago. Now, I am struggling to make the rent even with a shared space. So much so, I am having to relocate out of the city. I love the city of Anaheim and all it has to offer. Unfortunately it seems the city only loves profit and pleasing real estate developers and other special interests. Housing is one the most important issue in our city and the way we address it is to listen to the people who are having a horrible experience with finding something affordable. I see large families in my apartment complex cramming into tiny apartments. This is unsustainable and leads to other issues especially amongst youth. By opposing inclusive housing, you are siding with those who do not have the city’s best interest in mind. Do not let yourselves be taken advantage of and do what is needed by your constituents that elected you to make things easier for us who pay your salary. Thank you, Rebecca Pasillas 1
