ORDINANCE NO. 4308
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING SECTIONS 18.86.010 AND 18.86.020 OF
CHAPTER 18.86, TITLE 18, OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Sections 18.86.010 and 18.86.020 of Chapter 18.86
of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are
hereby, amended to read as follows:
1118.86.010 DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE.
The purpose of Public Recreational
Zoning is to establish for the benefit of the health,
safety and general welfare of the citizens of Anaheim
in the enjoyment of City-owned.properties and facili-
ties, a zone to preserve, regulate and control the
orderly use of such City -owned properties and adjacent
private property.
.010 Property within the purview of the
Public Recreational Zone includes (a) City -owned prop-
erty, whether the same is exclusively occupied by the
City or is used by others on the basis of some agreement
with or concession by the City, and (b) adjacent private
property, whose use and development has an impact on the
use and enjoyment of City -owned property and facilities.
.020 The types and classifications of
properties permitted to be included within the Public
Recreational Zone may, but need not, be included therein
initially. Classification of City -owned property and
adjacent private property may be added to the Public
Recreational Zone from time to time as determined and
approved by ordinance of the City Council in accordance
with the procedure for zoning reclassification set
forth in this title.

18.86.020 PERMITTED PRIMARY USES AND
STRUCTURES.
The following uses, either singly
or in combination, are permitted in this zone:
.010 Parks, greenbelts, conservation
and open space.
.020 Parking complexes and parking lots.
.030 Municipal golf courses.
.040 Stadium and sports arena complexes.
.050 Convention center complexes.
.060 Municipal auditoriums.
.070 Aquatic recreational complexes."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this or-
dinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
