A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 66 -67 -19 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 2nd day
of Novpmb r 19 65 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

Parcel 1:
That portion of that certain 57 acre Tract of First Class
land marked "Ramona De La Guerra," as shown on a map showing
Partition of the M. Yorba Estate filed in Book 1, Page 27
of Record of Surveys, on file in the office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Tract No. 5988, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 224, Pages 48 through 50,
inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; thence along the Easterly boundary line of
said Tract No. 5988 the following courses:
North 7 56' 24" East 48.88 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Easterly having a radius of 329.29
feet; Northerly along said curve through a central angle
of 15° 41' 58" an arc distance of 90.23 feet; North 10°
19' 38" East 15.82 feet to the beginning of a non tangent
curve concave Easterly having a radius of 333.29 feet, a
radial line through said point bears North 63° 42' 44"
West; Northerly along said curve through a central angle
of 13° 21' 08" an arc distance of 77.67 feet; North 39°
28' 24" East 435.23 feet; thence leaving said Easterly
boundary line South 50° 21' 36" East 100.45 feet; thence
North 39° 38' 24" East 6.26 feet; thence South 50° 21' 36"
East 164.00 feet; thence North 39° 38' 24" East 399.32 feet;
thence North 88 12' 40" East 97.24 feet to a point in
the Westerly boundary line of Tract No. 4762 as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 186, Pages 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence
South 6° 12' 30" East along said Westerly boundary line
847.72 feet to a point in the Northerly line of Orange
thorpe Avenue 50.00 feet wide, as described in Deed to
the County of Orange, recorded in Book 280, Page 147 of
Deeds, Records of Orange County, California; thence along
said Northerly line of Orangethorpe Avenue the following
courses:
North 78° 18' 05" West 158.24 feet and North 82° 24' 33"
West 857.71 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel 2.
That portion of that certain 57 acre Tract of First Class
land marked "Ramona De La Guerra" on a map showing partition
of the M. Yorba Estate filed in Book 1, Page 27 of Record
of Surveys, on file in the office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of Tract No. 5988, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 224, Pages 48 through 50,
inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said County;
thence along the boundary of said tract N. 34° 57' 20"
West 204.00 feet to a point on a curve concave southerly
having a radius of 585 feet, and whose radial to said point
bears N. 34° 57' 20" West; thence Southerly 6.92 feet along
the arc of said curve through a central angle of
00° 40' 41 thence, leaving said boundary, N. 14° 50' 50"
West 110.00 feet; thence N. 68° 30' 00" East 360.00 feet;
thence South 21° 30' 00" East 110.00 feet; thence
North 68° 30' 00" East 265.00 feet more or less to a point
in the Westerly line of that certain parcel of land
designated as Bernardo M. Yorba, Jr. et al., as shown on a
map filed in Book 53, Page 44, Record of Surveys; thence,
southerly along said westerly line, S. 10° 55' 14" East
743.00 feet more or less to the most northerly corner of
that certain lot designated as Leon F. Boisserance and
Thelma M. Boisserance, and shown on a map filed in Book 6,
Page 23, Record of Surveys of said County; thence, along the
northerly boundary of said lot and its westerly prolongation
S. 88° 12' 40" West 447.72 feet; thence S. 39° 38' 24"
West 399.32 feet; thence N. 50° 21' 36" West 164.00 feet;
thence S. 39° 38' 24" West 6.26 feet; thence N. 50° 21' 36"
West 100.45 feet to a point in the easterly line of said
Tract No. 5988; thence, along the boundary of said Tract
No. 5988, N. 39° 38' 24" East 401.76 feet to a tangent
curve concave easterly and having a radius of 381.00 feet;
thence northeasterly 102.44 feet along the arc of said
curve through a central angle of 15° 24' 16" to the point
of beginning.
be excluded from R -2, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and
incorporated in R -2 -5000, ONE FAMILY ZONE, upon the following
condition:
That a final tract map of subject property shall be
submitted to the City Council for approval, and
then recorded in the Office of the Orange County
Recorder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of November, 1966.
