A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR GRADING AND
MAINTENANCE OF A SLOPE AREA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for grading and
maintenance of a slope area
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EVERT S. PETERSON and
ANNA LOUISE PETERSON, husband and wife, and ROBERT C. AURAND
and RITA J. AURAND, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for grading and
maintenance of a slope area
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for grading and maintenance of a slope area
over, along and across that portion of "Dreyfus and Others"
lands, as shown on a Map of Survey made by Wm. Hamel and
filed for record in the office of the Los Angeles County
Recorder, a copy of which is shown in Book 3, pages 163 et
seq., entitled "Los Angeles County Maps" in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, described as
follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of South Street
and Orange Street, as shown on the Map of Tract No. 1681,
recorded in Book 125, pages 28 and 29' of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County; thence Westerly along the
centerline of said South Street, 140.00 feet; thence South-
erly at right angles to said South Street centerline, 32.00
feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 78° 09'
55" East, 75.16 feet; thence North 74° 21' 04" East, 35.34
feet; thence North 72° 21' 39" West 9.11 feet to a point on
a line parallel with, and distant Southerly 32.00 feet, as
measured at right angles, from said South Street centerline;
thence Westerly along said parallel line, 104.05 feet to the
true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)0
