66-720RESOLUTION NO. 66R -720 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN ASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE C I T Y PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY AND PUBLIC UTILITY OVERHANG PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described reel property for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road and public utility and public utility overhang purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City. of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of GREEK ORTHODOX COMMUNITY OF ORANGE COUNTY. INC.. a corporation. to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for road and public utility and public utility overhang purposes and more particularly described as follows: PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Easterly 45.00 feet, as measured at right angles from the center line of Dale Avenue, of that portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel- laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the East line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 12, distant North 0° 11' 30" West 145 feet from the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 12; thence North 0 11' 30" West along said East line 171.27 feet to a point; thence South 89° 40' 30" West parallel to the South line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section, 396.50 feet to a point; thence South 0° 11' 30" East parallel to said East line, 316.27 feet to a point on the South line of the Northeast quarter of the South- west quarter of said Section; thence North 89° 40' 30" East along said South line 132.50 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest corner of the land described in a deed to The Pacific Sabbitarian Association, a corporation, recorded February 13, 1894 in Book 69, be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). Note: For the purpose of this description, the center line of Dale Avenue is assumed to be the East line of Parcel One above described. PARCEL TWO: An easement for public utility overhang purposes for electric power lines and cross arms over, under, along and across the Southerly 3.00 feet of the Westerly 132.50 feet of Parcel One described above.
