A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1825
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
o cer a rea property s ua e• n�fie y of naheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 11 of the Miles Rancho as
per map recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of said
Lot 11, 652.8 feet South of the Northeast corner;
thence Westerly parallel to the North line of said
lot, 106 feet; thence South parallel with the
Easterly line of said lot to the Southerly line
thereof; thence Easterly along said Southerly line
to the Southeast corner of said lot; thence
Northerly along the Easterly line of said lot to
the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING the South 308.21 feet.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
was d ctohPr 10 19 notice of which said public hearing
uly given as requira law and the provisions.of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. PC66 -121, &ez&kezik
ki denying Variance No. .1825 and
WHEREAS, therafter, within twenty -two .422)., from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission apnying said
variance, and said appeal was set for public hedring,on
19 6 at 7 :00 otclock P.M. at.the
Hall in e y of Anaheim, and notice of such,public hearing
was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after clue investigation and stud tes made by
itself and in its behalf _and after due consideration of all the
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the. City Council
does find and determine that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

denying Variance No. 1825 be, and the same is hereby sustained,
and that the petition for a zoning variance granting' waivers
of the following Anaheim Municipal Code requirements and
limitations:
(a) Minimum building site area per dwelling unit
(Section 18.28.050(2));
(b) Maximum height of any building located within
150 feet of any single family residential zone
(Section 18.28.050(5 -b));
(c) Minimum side yard building setback
(Section 18.28.050(6- b -2));
(d) Minimum number of covered parking spaces,
minimum size of parking spaces and required
screening from adjacent properties and from
living and recreational- leisure areas and
from adjacent streets
(Section 18.28.050(10- a- c -e));
(e) Maximum permitted density; and
(f) Minimum floor area per dwelling unit
(Section 18.28.050(3 -a));
on the property hereinbefore described, be, and the same is
hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 9th day of November, 1966.
