A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN INDENTURE
GRANTING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AN EASEMENT
FOR PUi3LIC ROAD AND UTILITY PURPOSES OVER
THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Southern Pacific
Company did on January 24, 1966 enter into an agreement pro-
viding for the dedication to the City of Anaheim of roadways
for public road and utility purposes over, under and across
the hereinafter described real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the indenture executed by Southern
Pacific Company on January 24, 1966 granting to the City of
Anaheim an easement for public road and utility purposes over,
under and across the following described real property:
All that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and
being in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, being a portion of the Northeast quarter of
Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, as per map thereof, recorded in
Patent Book 2, pages 256 and 257, in the Office of the
Recorder of Los Angeles County, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the north line
of the South half of the northeast quarter of said
Section 23, with a line parallel with and distant 53 feet
westerly, measured at right angles, from the east line of
said northeast quarter; thence North 0 16' 05" West
along said parallel line, 55.09 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave northwesterly, and having a
radius of 25 feet; thence southerly, southwesterly and
westerly along the arc of said curve, through a central
angle of 90° 12' 48 a distance of 39.36 feet to a
point in a line parallel with and distant 30 feet northerly,
measured at right angles, from said north line; thence
South 89° 56' 43" West along last said parallel line
and tangent to said curve at last mentioned point, 1275.29
feet to a point in a line parallel with and distant 30
feet westerly, measured at right angles, from the west
line of the east half of said northeast quarter;
thence South 0 15' 38" East along last said parallel
line, 1363.30 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve,
concave northwesterly, and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence southerly, southwesterly and westerly along the
arc of said curve, through a central angle of 90° 12' 37"
a distance of 39.36 feet to a point in a line parallel
with and distant 45 feet northerly, measured at right
angles, from the south line of said northeast quarter;
thence North 89° 56' 59" East along last said parallel
line, and tangent to last said curve at last mentioned
point, 110.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve,
concave northeasterly, and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence westerly, northwesterly and northerly along yhe
arc of said curve, through a central angle of 89° 47' 23:',
a distance of 39.18 feet to a point in a line parallel
with, and distant 30 feet easterly, measured at right
angles, from said west line of the east half of the
northeast quarter; thence North 0° 15' 38" West along
last said parallel line, and tangent to last said curve
at last mentioned point, 1288.43 feet, to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave southeasterly, and having a
radius of 15.00 feet; thence northerly, northeasterly
and easterly along the arc of said curve, through a
central angle of 90° 12' 21 a distance of 23.62 feet
to a point in a line parallel with and distant 30 feet
southerly, measured at right angles, from said north line
of the south half, of the northeast quarter; thence
North 89° 56' 43" East along last said parallel line,
and tangent to last said curve at last mentioned point,
1200.42 feet to the beginning of a curve, concave to
the southwesterly, and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence easterly, southeasterly and southerly along the
arc of said curve, through a central angle of
89° 47' 12 a distance of 39.18 feet to a point in
said line that is parallel with and distant 53 feet
westerly, measured.at right angles, from said east line
of the northeast quarter; thence North 0° 16' 05" West
along last said parallel line and tangent to last said
curve at last mentioned point, 54.91 feet to the point
of beginning.
EXCEPTING and reserving however to Southern Pacific
Company, its successors and assigns, the right to
construct, reconstruct, maintain and use one drill
track and one spur track over, across and along said
roadways in locations to be agreed upon by the City
and Southern Pacific Company.
