AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did adopt its Resolution
No. PC78-232 determining that a change or changes
in the zone or zones hereina ter mentioned and described should be
made as hereinafter set forth after a duly noticed hearing; and
IiHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as
conditions -precedent to the making of a change or changes of said
zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as
follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
PARCEL 1:
The Easterly one -acre of the Westerly four -acres of the
following described land:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 28 of
Anaheim Extension, as shown on a map made by William
Hamel, filed for record in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California; thence
westerly along the Northerly line of said lot, 786.90
feet Easterly of the Northwesterly corner of said Lot
28; thence Southerly, parallel to the Westerly line of
said lot, 442 feet; thence Easterly parallel to the
Northerly line of said lot, 786.90 feet to a point on
the Easterly line of said lot; thence Northerly along said
Easterly line 442 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING from said Easterly one -acre of the westerly
four acres, that portion ocupied by Vermont Avenue,
formerly Broad Street.

PARCEL 2:
The Westerly one-half of the Easterly one acre of the
Westerly five acres of the following described land:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 28 of
"Anaheim Extension", as shown on a map made by William
Hamel, filed for record in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California; thence
Westerly along the Northerly line of said lot, 786.90
feet to a point 378.75 feet Easterly of the Northwest-
erly corner of said Lot 28; thence Southerly, parallel
to the Westerly line of said Lot, 442 feet; thence
Easterly parallel to the Northerly line of said lot,
786.90 feet to a point on the Easterly line of said
lot; thence Northerly along said Easterly line 442 feet
to the point of beginning, containing 8.09 acres, more
or less.
EXCEPTING from said Easterly one acre of the Westerly
five acres that portion occupied by Vermont Avenue,
formerly Broad Street.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included within
Parcel 1 as shown on a map recorded in book 50, page 9
of Parcel Maps, records of Orange County, California,
be changed to "RM -1200" RESIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE -FAMILY ZONE, subject
to the following conditions:
1. That sidewalks shall be installed along Vermont Avenue as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans on file with the Office of the Director of
Public Works.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed and charged as re-
quired and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department prior to commencement of structural framing.
4. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
5. That drainage of subject property shall be disposed of
in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer.
6. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City
of .Anaheim the appropriate park and recreation in -lieu fees as de-
termined to be appropriate by the City Council, said fees to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued.

7. That the owner of subject property shall pay the residential
traffic signal assessment fee (Council Policy No. 214) amounting to
$36.00 per each new dwelling unit prior to the issuance of a building
permit.
8. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, 4 and 5, above-mentioned, shall
be complied with prior to final building and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of July, 1982.

said City Council held on the 6th day of July, 1982, by the following
