Anaheim Mayor and City Council, I cannot believe that anyone is considering on Doubling Down on more Commuter Traffic in Anaheim Hills. As everyone is aware, Inland Empire and Riverside Commuter Traffic has taken over the Neighborhoods on Serrano from Canon all the way to the 91 Fwy. It is no longer safe to even walk on Serrano much to drive safely. I have been rear ended twice by speeding distracted commuter drivers. The residents have been begging for the City to do something by adding STOP SIGNS and TRAFFIC LIGHTS to slow the traffic down, but Anaheim choose to “Lower the Speed Limit” without providing any Enforcement to slow the Traffic down from the Average 50 mph speeds. No Enforcement does nothing to slow the Traffic down. Now the City Council is considering to add to the Traffic and Congestion with this Development. Deer Canyon is zoned as a PARK PRESERVE and should not be Developed as High Density Housing. Do not destroy Anaheim Hills Open Spaces and Pave Paradise with another High Rise Community. Everyone on the City Council should be required to drive on Santa Ana Cyn during Rush Hours AM and PM and see what it is like. They should also have to drive on Serrano in a similar pattern I Rush Hour Traffic. Just using the Term “RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC” for a Residential Neighborhood where Families live and Children are raised and go to School should Repulse you. Anaheim Hills does not want to be another Urban Development! Do Not Approve SALT Development!!! Michael Henderson 1
