Regarding: Proposed Deer Canyon Preserve Project at Santa Ana Canyon
Road
Anaheim Hills, CA
Attention: Natalie Rubalcava
THIS PROJECT IS NOT RIGHT FOR THIS SITE.
My family's safety is my #1 priority.
The "footprint" This development would leave in our beautiful canyon would
destroy it! The hundreds of extra cars that would be coming and going into
these units creating traffic is one problem. That doesn’t even include
tenant visitors, Amazon deliveries, maintenance workers, etc. What if 1000
1
more people in that complex had to flee their homes, in addition to the lives
of our families, during our next fire???? Some residences took 2 hours to
get OUT of Anaheim Hills during the Canyon Fire in 2017! They think 3-4
hours will be acceptable? Just add a little wind to any fire and it moves
FASTER! Do they want us to burn to death in our cars???
There are people cutting coming down Serrano Avenue from work heading
down to Weir Canyon, already blocking 2-3 lanes in the late afternoon just
to get to the east bound 91 Freeway. Santa Ana Canyon already can’t
handle 2 lanes of traffic each way! They use this as an eastbound freeway
91 onramp shortcut too.
I don't want to lose my home or the lives of any of my family members just
because someone wants to build a "beautiful oasis." Do the right thing and
tell SALT and find someplace else to build!!!
Save our scenic corridor and save lives!
