Dear Anaheim City Planning Commission,
I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed plan to build 500 apartments and six luxury homes in Anaheim Hills.
Each year, our community faces serious wildfire risks, and adding high-density housing in this area will significantly
increase our vulnerability and challenges during evacuations. Additional traffic from this project will create congestion on
local roads, potentially blocking vital exits and jeopardizing the safety of residents during emergency evacuations.
Moreover, our local schools are already overburdened and understaffed. Running Springs Elementary and Canyon Rim
Elementary operate with class sizes averaging around 30 students, limiting the quality of education our children receive.
Adding a substantial number of new residents will only strain these resources further, exacerbating our schools'
challenges.
Thank you for considering the residents' concerns. Please reconsider this development in light of the safety and well-
being of our community.
Sincerely,
Dong Vu
