I am wri?ng in reference to the above project , Deer Canyon Project. I have been a resident in A.H. For approximately 25
years . There have been numerous fires during that ?me , in this area. During one of the fires in recent years that
occurred behind AHES, my sons were home (both 18 and above). My husband and I were on a road trip and learned
about the fire. We had our sons evacuate the area. Our sons made it approximately 2 blocks from our residence in a 2
hour ?me period. The area was so congested with people trying to exit. Deer Canoyons proposed site already has issues
with traffic. Drivers trying to bypass traffic use Santa Ana Canyon as an alterna?ve to the 91 freeway. There have been
several fires by the 241 toll road and the 91 fwy and we’re praying for no more fires here. By your building in that area,
you’re signing the death warrant for many drivers and residents. Who shall we hold responsible for the deaths to follow
when the drivers and resident can’t evacuate ? This is a serious safety concern.
