I would like to voice my OPPOSITION for the SALT project that the planning board is dicta?ng upon all residents of the
Anaheim Hills area.
Our quality of life and home values will suffer due to such a monstrous 7 year project such as this, that does nothing for
“affordable housing”. The fire danger, combined with the fact that your own departments and staff do not recommend
the SALT project, should be red flags that the project should not move forward. There is no escape route that will
sufficiently move all the newly added vehicles away from Santa Ana Canyon Road (including electric vehicles that have
run out of power wai?ng 3 hours in traffic and are now blocking the road). It is irresponsible to consider this grand scale
project in such a small town area. The residents don’t need or want it. Nor do we want to add more lanes through our
town to convert it to a larger freeway bypass.
Council members, consider the residents before you vote, not what you may gain by approving it.
