As a nearly 30 year resident of Anaheim Hills, I have not only experienced the Canyon 1 fire, but the devastating evacuation of the Canyon 2 fire. It took me nearly 2 hours to get through the Serrano/Weir Canyon area, not to mention going any further! And yes, as attested by others, going in the opposite direction using Serrano to the south as well as Canyon Rim and Nohl Ranch wasn't any better. It was horrifying. And horrifying for those that lost their homes. Now thanks to WAZE and other apps, our streets, not just the main streets, but neighborhoods are inundated with streams of nonstop vehicles, drivers that are directed off of the 241 toll road, Cannon, and the 55/91 freeways. And these homeowners cannot get out of their driveways! That is especially sad for those taking their children to activities, picking them up from school, or more importantly getting to doctor's appointments, etc. It's a daily mess that will only get worse with the SALT development and the widening of SAC, which will definitely add more cars, not alleviate it. Add another horrific fire and lives are at risk. Please vote no, our safety is of extreme importance! Helen Scott 1
