I would like to formally State my opposition to the Salt developers project in Anaheim hills off of Santa Ana Canyon Road. I share the safety concerns that many others have raised with respect to evacuations during fires as well as the current and future overcrowding and traffic issues we currently face in our city. The statement that one of the city council members made about Anaheim hills having to share the burden of housing with the rest of the city of Anaheim is a completely uneducated statement. The rest of Anaheim does not sit in a fire hazard, does not have trouble getting insurance, is not used doesn't mean thoroughfare as people try to maneuver through the streets of Anaheim hills to avoid a 2-mile stretch of the 91 freeway. It is nearly impossible to get my grandchildren to practice anytime after 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. or later. Getting out of our housing development off of weir Canyon is a nightmare and you can't even go to the grocery store in a decent amount of time. Adding a development off of Santa Ana Canyon and increasing traffic anywhere within this 92807-92808 ZIP code area it's a horrifically bad idea. Please don't let the developers pay you off with promises and money. Do what's right for the people who live in this city. Thank you Victoria and Garth Webber 92808 1
