I am wri?ng to express my concerns with the proposed project to build an apartment complex in the Deer Canyon area.
The main concern is the amount of added cars this project would bring to the area. I remember having to evacuate
during a past fire and the traffic was so bad. The 91 FWY was closed in both direc?ons causing Santa Ana Canyon Rd.
Going west to be stopped. Traffic on Fes?val was also stopped. My mother in law lived at the Fountain Glen apartments
and we could not get to her. A?er si?ng in traffic for over 3 hours, we had to park in the middle of the Target parking lot
and sit there for an addi?onal 3 hours before the traffic let up. I can only see this becoming a worst situa?on with the
addi?on 1000 cars added in this area in the next fire evacua?on. Please DO NOT vote to approve tjis project.
