Subject:\[EXTERNAL\] Salt project
You don't often get email from Learn why this is important

I would like to voice my objection to the proposed SALT development. We moved to Anaheim Hills from
Orange many years ago because we loved the simple, natural beauty of the area. Living off the Mohler
Loop feels as if we're away from the hustle and bustle of city life even if it's only temporary. It's so
important for my family's mental health to have this escape each day as we come home from work and
school. The proposed development is everything we ran away from and loved about Anaheim Hills!! This
type of development DOES NOT fit in our community. This is not Irvine and we don't want it to become
that type of city where luxury high rises have taken over the whole community - an ugly concrete jungle so
completely opposite Anaheim Hills. Not everyone wants to live in a city with modern high rises etc... it's
important we preserve our simple way of life, which is why we all live in Anaheim Hills! The stress this will
put on the residents is immense. Please consider the mental health and happiness of the residents over
the money. Aside from this, there are so many other reasons this hideous project is detrimental to our
neighborhood.
1. Traffic and gridlock on an already congested street. Try driving down Santa Ana Canyon in the
afternoon on a weekday! Complete nightmare as people try to bypass the 91 as we're just trying to get
home from work. Let's just add a 1,000 more cars, no big deal.
2. Consider the above during a fire evacuation in a high fire risk zone. Is money more important than our
lives??
3. Schools. Where are these kids enrolling in schools? Or are we to believe the residents will have no kids
as the developers try to tell us. Do they think we're that stupid to believe them? The schools in the are are
already at capacity!
4. The disruption of the wildlife in Deer Canyon. How dare they call this a preservation? It's destruction of
nature and wildlife in disguise. Please don't fall for it!
I urge you to consider our lives, safety and well-being over the money! Consider the safety and
preservation of the wildlife over the money!
Thank you,
Natalie Antoine
