TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, We moved to Anaheim Hills 12 years ago because we fell in love with the nature, the simplicity, and the distance away from over development- we were living in Irvine, which has turned into a hideous condo jungle over the years. Since living here, we have lived through countless fires and city evacuations where we even helped evacuate fellow loved ones. Our streets cannot survive added traffic in cases of emergency. I can’t even believe this project is even being considered. There is a serious lack of human safety and a complete focus on greed and development for monetary gain. Preserve Anaheim Hills’ residents’ safety, simplicity, and nature! This is an offense to those of us who have lived here for years and planned to make this our forever home. Our major concerns: - Increased fire risk and evacuation concerns in a high-risk fire zone Disrupt and displace wildlife - Change the natural beauty and character of the community with a 24-hour shopping mall style lighting - Create greater traffic and gridlock on an already congested street (Santa Ana Canyon) Overcrowding of schools We respectfully request that you seriously consider the negative impacts of this project and the detriment it can bring to the quality of our lives in this area. We ask that preservation, beauty and safety be put above corporate and City profits. Please NO MORE OVERDEVELOPMENT in Anaheim Hills!! Picture for reference - This is what fires in AH look like to those of us who live here. We weren’t in immediate danger of evacuation here but the air quality was terrible and the streets were so backed up that we couldn’t leave anyway. We are at Imperial and Nohl Ranch Road. Please take our lives into consideration. This isn’t just an inconvenience, an aesthetic issue, or an elitist request. These are our lives and the lives of our families that we’re asking you to consider. 1 Thank you, Annette Nagy 2 Anaheim Hills, CA 3
