I have been an Anaheim Hills resident for 38 years. I am requesting that the Master Plan for Anaheim Hills and the Scenic Corridor not be changed or rezoned to accommodate the Salt Development LLC apartments and commercial space. I live on Canyon Crest Drive at Martin Road, two blocks west of the proposed project. My primary concern is safe evacuation during fire emergencies. My neighborhood has been evacuated during past fires with limited success due to gridlock. One personal experience to relate: during a fire, the Police came to my home banging on the front door telling me to evacuate. I packed a few things and drove to the ONLY exit/entrance of our neighborhood from Santa Ana Canyon Road and could not leave. SAC Road was a “parking lot” of gridlock with cars not moving. I eventually turned around and went home, turned on the sprinklers, and stayed up all night watering and praying that no embers would land causing my yard or house to catch fire. Thankfully, there was no fire at my house. The Salt Development apartment project would add thousands of more autos to the neighborhood adding more gridlock on SAC Road, which is an impossible situation during a fire emergency. Please do not rezone or change the Master Plan. We will welcome the construction of single family homes as previously planned. You are welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for considering this request. Jeannie Averill Anaheim, CA 92808 Jeannie Averill 1 2
