RESOLUTION NO. 3670

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DE!~ING VARIANCE NO. 671.
~1HEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did receive a petition from the owner of certain
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 32 of Tract 2299 as shown on a map
recorded in Book 70, pages 44 through
49 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California
(Said property being located at 1848
Lincoln Avenue.)
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold
a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
December 3, 1956, notices of which said public hearing were
dUly given, as required by law and the provisions of Section
9200.17 of the Anaheim Ilunicipal Code; and
:ffiEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in
its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 114--
Series 1956-57, recommending that Variance No. 671 be granted
upon the conditions therein set forth; and.
.mEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution a written appeal
was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protest-
ing the action of the City Planning Commission granting said
variance, and said appeal was set for uublic hearing on the
8th day of January, 1957, at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing
was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section
9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
W~EREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearin; and. did giye all ')ersons interested therein an opportun-
i ty to be ll.eard, and did continue said hearing to a later date;
and
\ffiEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all
the eviclence ancl reports offered at said hearings, the Oi ty

There is no substantial property
right possessed by other property
in the same vicinity and zone and
denied the subject property.

2. It appears that the subject property
can be adequately developed and used
under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission granting Variance No. 671 requesting permission
to use the residence now located on the property hereinabove
described for a residence and medical office be, and the same
is hereby disaoproved, and that Variance No. 671 be, and the
same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 22nd day of January, 1957.
