Hi, As a current resident of Anaheim Hills located in the RS-3 plot (per the General Amendment and Zone Reclassification) since September 2017, I was present during the 2017 Canyon Fire that caused extreme congestion as a result of voluntary resident fire evacuees along Santa Ana Canyon Road. The situation was an absolute mess, and that mess would only be exacerbated by moving forward with the Hills Preserve development project being pushed by SALT Development to add dense housing along Santa Ana Canyon Road. I strongly oppose this development as does your City Planning employees, Fire Chief, and Police Chief. I added the September 30th Planning Commission meeting to voice my opposition, and that session made clear that your Planning Commissioners had neither the safety or well-being of Anaheim Hills residents in mind when recommending this development be approved. I ask that the City Council not follow the recommendation of its Planning Commission. Thanks, Tyler Baker 1
