To: Anaheim City Council re above and Hills Preserve Specific Plan As residents of Anaheim Hills for just over 50 years (since 9/09/74 in the same home) and as witnesses to the traffic caused by numerous wildfires over this time, we cannot stay silent regarding the heavy handed lack of concern for public safety exemplified by the recent actions of the Anaheim City Council regarding this issue. This project should never have advanced to this point in the administrative process, given the local public sentiment against it and the negative professional opinions stated by the management of the Anaheim Police and Fire Department. The last fire caused a near total blockage of Canyon Rim Road and Nohl Ranch Road, which are both visible from the yard of our home. The proposed development would definitely further add to the evacuation traffic back-up on Santa Ana Canyon Road, onto which the two above named arteries eventually feed.
