Dear City Council Members,
As a resident of Anaheim Hills, I am deeply concerned about the proposed development in Deer Canyon Preserve by the
Salt Project. This untouched area is home to many animals and is a vital part of our community’s natural beauty.
Given Southern California’s history with devasta?ng wildfires, developing in this area poses significant risks to our safety.
It is crucial that we put the safety of our residents above financial interests. Our community does not need more traffic in
an already saturated area of the 91 parking. Commuters on the 91 freeway already block traffic for residents who live in
the area. Going a mere mile to the grocery store can take 30 minutes in the evening with the 91 freeway traffic. Adding
addi?onal thousand homes will increase traffic in an area hard to navigate in Anaheim Hills area and increases the safety
of the area when an emergency arises.
Please consider the long-term implica?ons and priori?ze the preserva?on of Deer Canyon Preserve for the well-being of
Anaheim Hills residents.
Sincerely,
Crystal Lantello
Anaheim Hills Resident
