It definitely will not "preserve" or improve the lives of Anaheim Hills residents. I can easily think back to the last fire that was encroaching Anaheim Hills starting an evacuation. I was in a traffic gridlock trying to get home from work to get my family and then when I finally made it, I was again in a gridlock trying to comply with a suggested evacuation. Insurance companies already recognize Anaheim Hills vulnerability to fires because of big increases in our home insurance. Imagine what the 498-unit apartment complex in Anaheim Hills will contribute to our already community's road congestion. Imagine what the 498-unit apartments complex will 1 do to crowding our schools. Imagine what the 498-unit apartments will do to our already strained fire and police departments. Imagine what the 498-unit apartments will do to impact our local wildlife. Imagine the environmental impact of the 498- apartments on our Anaheim Hills community. The City is also kidding themselves if they think a Salt Lake City company, not a local company, will have deed restrictions that would keep half of the undeveloped open space. If you believe that, I have another offer to you resurrecting an old phrase..."If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to you." Anaheim Hills roads are already being used as shortcuts from/to the roll roads and other freeways that are heading out to Corona. We are referring to Santa Ana Canyon Road as Santa Ana Canyon Freeway, same with Serrano, Nohl Ranch, Fairmount, Imperial and even our short Anaheim Hills Road. There even is a new road sign on Nohl Ranch "Freeway" between Canyon Rim and Anaheim Hills, that directs traffic to 91 FREEWAY! I was wondering why Anaheim Hills had so much traffic at times, the sign directing traffic to 91 Freeway answered that question. I bet there are other signs doing the exact same thing which explains our community traffic concerns. Please do not approve this "preserve" project. Make the safety and concerns of the Anaheim Hills community your priority. Louise Cierpial Anaheim Hills 92807 2
