To whom it may concern, I am deeply opposed to the new apartment complex that is being looked at in Anaheim Hills. Adding more people and vehicles to the area is a danger to the ci?zens. My family and I live on Canyon Heights Dr and was incredibly impacted by the 2017 Canyon 2 fire. Seven homes burnt down on our street and our home caught on fire as well but the fire department was right there to put it out. We had such a hard ?me ge?ng out of our neighborhood and down Weir to get on the freeway at this ?me. Adding more traffic conges?on is not only a bad idea but you would literally be pu?ng lives at stake. My family’s lives! People would be si?ng ducks if we are all trying to evacuate during another fire and we are grid locked. Fires have taken out communi?es and could hours too. Secondary, it is taking about 30-40 minutes to get from my neighborhood, Canyon Heights Dr, to the 91 during rush hour traffic. It should take about 5-7 minutes. This is on Weir Canyon, not the 91, not the 241, but Weir. This is not ok. If we add hundreds or thousands more vehicles, people will be looking at ways to leave Anaheim Hills and look for another place that values it’s community members. Thank you, Bristel 1
