This is in regards to the two recent development projects in Anaheim hills less than 2 miles apart from each other adding up to 800 multi-family homes to the area. I am dumbfounded that the city has re-zoned this area to allow for a possible project of this magnitude. Why? We do not need more cars on our roads. We have a Major Fire Issue year in and year out. Lives matter. At the same time, how do you plan to school all of these children????? Only adding more kids to an already overfilled classroom. We ask that you pay attention to the already congested roads during school hours, business traffic, and 91 freeway. Adding 800 *2cars= 1600 more cars in the road will only create so much more gridlock. We talk about Sharing in the community of additional housing- Well if that is the case- Then why do we not have enough police in the area, our homeless situation is getting bad weekly and will only get worse. I assume the amount of property tax dollars the city gets because of the nice part of Anaheim hills will only drop in value in the future. Especially as It adds 800 new rentals in the area. The Fire issues are real in Anaheim hills and jeopardizing the ability for families to evacuate the area is real. Have you tried driving down Serrano at anytime from 3PM to 6pm. it is Dead Stop. How about Santa Ana Canyon road? IF you want to zone this are, then zone if for Single family homes as needed but not a 7-story building that will be an EYE sore in Anaheim hills. Our homeowner’s insurance has gone up 300%- Why are you not taking care of the Dead vegetation all over our city? I personally will probably have to sell and move out of the area after living here these past 40 years as we can not drive down the hill of serrano during prime time to pick up our kids from their activities. IT makes it a 30 mn drive versus a 7 min pick up? If traffic is this bad, I will need to relocate my business to orange or YL. At the same time, why hasn’t the city expanded our roads to fix the growing traffic issue we are dealing with daily. Please note it will only get worse as folks have to go back to office working versus from home. 1 Sorry to share this gross Video of a homeless man defacing in Anaheim Hills in clear day light. This is just so wrong for the kids, ladies and all to see. But I can only imagine how this community will look if we do not stop these projects. NO MORE MUTIFAMILY and Fix our Traffic issue- Please fix our fire hazard areas. Thank you, Gino Sabeh – Anaheim hills homeowner and residence Please excuse any typos sent from my iPhone! 2
