Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and are expecting the message. My name is Ken Wood -- My wife Janice & I have lived in Anaheim Hills for decades. Our 2 daughters and husbands with our 7 grandkids live just down the street from us. We are just south of SAC, and our kids are just N of SAC. We are convinced that DCP should not be approved on many levels - the one that I'm speaking to tonight is traffic congestion on SAC-- not focusing on emergency escape but rather on daily travel on SAC. 2 weeks ago on Friday afternoon we tried to travel east on SAC 2 miles and it took 1-1/2 hours and a dozen light changes to get to Costco. Although longer than usual 5 to 7 days a week going east on SAC, north on Weir or east on LaPalma are nearly as long. So forget the 91 going east every day starting early PM. Avoid SAC east many days during school times and especially PM's. No traffic study is needed to confirm what we are experiencing daily on SAC. In my 40 years in business, I learned early that there are 2 axioms in life -- problems which have potential solutions and facts of life which have no apparent solutions. I'm convinced that the elephant in the room here is close to the fact of life and that's the 91 and SAC congestion. Adding hundreds more cars to SAC and surrounding roads will make our daily travels in our community even worse than what we are currently experiencing and again not even addressing emergency evacuation. We strongly recommend a NO on this project. 1
