Dear Anaheim Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share some concerns about the proposed seven-
story building project planned for our neighborhood. While development is often a sign of growth and
progress, it is important to ensure that such changes align with the best interests of our community’s
character, safety, and quality of life.
Many residents have expressed apprehension about this new development due to its potential impact on
our community, including:
1. Traffic and Safety Concerns: An increase in the number of residents and vehicles may
exacerbate existing traffic congestion and create new safety hazards for pedestrians, cyclists, and
schoolchildren in our area.
2. Strain on Infrastructure: A seven-story structure would place additional demand on local
utilities, parking, and public services, potentially leading to overcrowding and reduced quality of
service.
3. Preservation of Neighborhood Character: Our community’s identity and appeal are rooted in its
small-scale, close-knit feel. The construction of a high-rise building may disrupt this sense of
community and introduce changes that don’t align with the area’s traditional aesthetic.
4. Environmental Impact: The project could pose risks to our green spaces and create challenges
in managing waste, water runoff, and local wildlife habitats. It is crucial to consider how this will
affect our shared environment.
We believe that before moving forward, there needs to be a more comprehensive and inclusive
assessment of this project’s long-term impact on our neighborhood. As a community, it’s essential that
we advocate for responsible development that prioritizes our safety, well-being, and shared values.
Thank you for your attention and commitment to our neighborhood.
