I know we need to do our part in helping to house Californians but two-bedroom family expensive apartments in an area that doesn't have the infrastructure to support the safety of evacuation or the buildings and teachers for the kids that would be moving in is unfair to not only our community but those that would be moving in. Let's find a better solution and PLAN something amazing that will support the needs of current and future Anaheim residents. Talk about paved Paradise and put up a parking lot.... There are so few natural areas to recreate. Why would you cut into that with huge apartment buildings? Not to mention when the rain comes how my neighborhood downstream is going to handle the impact they would have on the hill. Closing the gates for easy access to Deer canyon from Santa Ana has been a disservice to the community. I believe this is part of salt's doing. They have also been very deceiving in advertising. Using the savedeercanyon platform with a twist of words to make those unaware believe they are putting in something beneficial for the community. The community has been speaking out!! I know their pockets are deep, but please hear the outpouring voices. Look at the map and current traffic living situation. Please don't overthink this with Salt's sparkles and charm. there is pressure to house more people but let's do it the right way. Common sense will tell you this is a bad idea. 1
